Every student will need a valid machine readable passport.Catch the Fire School of Ministry does not take any responsibility for a student's immigration status. The procurement of the appropriate visa / permit is the individual students’ responsibility. To help, however we can point you in the right direction. If you are a non-Canadian planning to attend the school you will need to assess whether or not you need a visa to attend.
If you plan to attend the school for a period of less than six months, Citizenship and Immigration Canada consider that a short-term program and therefore you do not need to apply for a study permit. However you will possibly need a visitor visa depending on your nationality. Check Citizenship and Immigration Canada's website to see if you need to apply for a visitor visa prior to your arrival in Canada.
If you plan to attend for more than six months, you will need to apply for a study permit. Check Citizenship and Immigration Canada's website to learn more about the process of studying in Canada.
At the time of your acceptance into the school, we will send you the relevant documentation you can use for the appropriate visa application.
Please also note: you should apply for a "Mulitple Entry Visa" in order to facilitate any outside-of-Canada ministry trips during your course at the SoM.
If you have any questions please contact us school@tacf.org and we will help as much as we are able. Please note that CTF School of Ministry is not able to influence Citizenship and Immigration Canada in any way.
