You love God. You love to worship Him. And you want to develop your musical gift.You want to experiment, experience and explore aspects of worship you've never touched before. You want an encounter with Him that makes you more radical, more creative and more passionate. You want to come to the School of Ministry Worship module.
Coming to the Worship module doesn't just affect one part of your life. It affects all of you - your heart, your character and your talent. You'll be more equipped as a musical worshipper by the end of it, but more than that you'll be a more heart-felt, spirit-led, life-style worshipper.
It's an amazing opportunity to learn firsthand from experienced worship leaders, we guarantee you'll be inspired and challenged by them! And all of this happens in the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit here at Catch The Fire Toronto.
Class-time for the Worship module is all about impacting you at a heart level, inspiring you, challenging you, changing you and empowering you to live and worship with passion.
The teaching is highly practical and interactive. Previous topics include: Worship Leading, Songwriting, Harp & Bowl, Heart of Worship, Lyric Writing, Children's Worship, Practical Sound Training, Team Dynamics and special weeks with worship leaders Julie Meyer, Noel Richards, and John Mark McMillan.
All full-time modules of the School of Ministry begin with our Core Value Month. This is comprised of the core values and beliefs of Catch The Fire and fundamentals for personal transformation: Hearing the Voice of God; The Father Heart of God; Healing of the Heart; Moving in the Prophetic.
In the next three-month phase of the school you will further develop your musical skills with regular instrument and vocal lessons, plus worship team practices. You will have regular scheduled opportunities to play on worship teams and leading worship at the School and at the Church in a variety of contexts.
Our speakers for the Worship module are experienced and powerfully anointed worship leaders and teachers who will inspire you, challenge you, minister to you and impart to you the passion that they carry.
Each morning, Monday to Friday, there will be a time of worship followed by teaching. In the afternoon there will be additional lessons, band practice, time together in small groups for pastoral care, soaking sessions or time off.The Worship module is a full-time commitment and does not allow time for part-time jobs during the semester.
Graduating students receive a Certificate from Catch The Fire School of Ministry. The Worship module also contributes to the achievement of the Diploma in Ministry, which is awarded to graduates with 2 years of study with the School of Ministry.
If you're ready for a fun but basic, community-style experience, room and board is available through the School of Ministry. Worship students can also choose to rent their own accommodation in the area.
After the four month teaching and equipping phase you will join with Heart and Revelation Modules for a life changing 3 week outreach. This is your time to step out on the water and see how everything you have been learning works out there!
